This morning I saw that Kaiser Family Foundation has published a brief on the pending Supreme Court case challenging the Affordable Care Act. With the Supreme Court scheduled to hear oral arguments on the case in March, this brief is a timely summary of the case and the legal arguments made by the parties involved. The Court is slated to review the constitutionality of the law’s individual mandate to purchase health insurance and the provisions of the law requiring states to expand eligibility of their Medicaid programs. The brief also outlines how the Supreme Court could decide on each issue and the implications of the Court’s decisions. The full brief is available here.
