Pharmaceutical Co. Investing in Suffolk County

Here’s a bit of great news for pharmaceutical employees and patients throughout New York — the Long Island Business Journal profiled a new investment of $39M in Suffolk County by Invagen Pharmaceuticals (story can be found here).

This plan will create more than 350 jobs throughout Suffolk County, and is a great incentive for Invagen to remain on Long Island. That’s great news for all the health care professionals who are both directly and indirectly employed by the company.

Many thanks to Governor Cuomo and Empire State Development Corporation for brokering this deal – hopefully there will be more companies to take Invagen’s lead and keep their business in New York!
